Said by a mom to another mom of a 12 month old son: "Oh, so it looks like you're expecting another one?".
Response: "No"
Embarrassed mom: "I'm sorry. I wish I wouldn't have said that".
That's not a good situation for anyone involved.
On the flip side, when I was about 7 months pregnant and HUGE, a teenage girl asked me if I was pregnant (her friends laughed at her for asking). I mean, c'mon......seriously??
Another AWESOME comment that I got often was "Twins?? Wow, no wonder you're so HUGE!". Yeah.....thanks. I guess you really can't win. :-)

Yeah, I've been that woman. Not the embarrassed one. Those darn twins - they really take a toll on your body, eh! 38.5 weeks? Yeah, that's like going 45-50 weeks with a singleton, right? We should get fully-paid tummy tucks standardized for twins moms. ;)
