Last weekend, I went on my usual Saturday grocery shopping trip. As I was checking out and the cashier (high school kid) was scanning all of my coupons, he gave me my total and said "Wow, you got skills".
Last month, they had to call the manager over to approve the transaction because I had too many coupons. A few weeks ago, they offered to park one of my carts in the freezer while I continued filling up the other cart. I was doing a huge shopping trip with a 15% store coupon.
People used to tell me I had skills as a tennis player (admittedly not great skills). Then, I had skills as a mountain biker. Now, I guess I've got grocery shopping skills! Isn't that what everyone dreams of?? Sometimes I'm reminded just how much my life has changed!
