Gavin's favorite cars aren't merely thrown in a box or piled in a corner. They are carefully placed on the window sill, waiting for Gavin to discover them tomorrow morning. Looks more like Jay Leno's garage than a pile of Matchbox cars. What a nice Dad.

My Car Collectors
I had a very long day today and collapsed on the couch after putting the kids to bed, while Pete did toy and bath cleanup. I later walked by and noticed this.........

Gavin's favorite cars aren't merely thrown in a box or piled in a corner. They are carefully placed on the window sill, waiting for Gavin to discover them tomorrow morning. Looks more like Jay Leno's garage than a pile of Matchbox cars. What a nice Dad.

SO, what's your problem with this? Seems like very normal behavior. Cars don't belong in with dolls.
Looks like the model cars he used to have on the shelves in his room. He always had a specific way he wanted them displayed--he hasn't changed.
