Because I’m a little crazy

 

What do you do when your daughter is being a handful (see this post)?  Let her play with scissors, of course! 

I was a little nervous, but it turned out way better than I expected.  Gavin liked it and did really well.  Emery LOVED it!  She sat at the table and cut with her new scissors for over an hour!  It’s so hard to find something that holds her interest, so this was a major score!  

Actually, Emery has been doing MUCH better since the “crazy toy cleanout”.  Although we’ve had some not-so-great moments, she’s earned back some toys for good behavior and seems to be back on the right track (fingers crossed).  

If she keeps up the good behavior maybe I’ll let her play with steak knives.  Kidding.
