Parrotheads

Today I discovered (by accident) that Jimmy Buffet can entertain toddlers for minutes on end. Gavin turned on the stereo and the cd started to play. Emery was a crazy dancer for the next 30 minutes! I served margaritas for breakfast and we had a great day (just kidding about the margaritas....)!

Please excuse the messy house in the video. Pete was out of town yesterday and Gavin had a 45 minute meltdown, during which Emery was standing on the coffee table running back and forth. So......the coffee table went behind the gate, the fan is now on top of the table, and we began training camp....

I decided that it was time for Gavin and Emery to learn about falling. Until now, I've always caught them as they went head first off the couch, or literally jumped into my arms. They won't walk off of a ledge (at least I hope not), but their dismounts are more daring than I would like......especially Emery. So, I decided that we would learn in a controlled environment. :-) Gavin has been doing much better getting down feet first and I think Emery may have gotten the idea (after a few tumbles).
