Tonight was the babies first trip to a mountain bike trail. Pete and I used to spend countless hours mountain biking, so it was fun to watch Gavin and Emery checking everything out. Our good friend Bill is visiting from Texas this week, which has given us a great opportunity to hit the trails! The Trek/Gary Fisher Demo truck was visiting. This means that you can try out a bunch of nice bikes to see what you like best. 
Pete and Bill tested out a few of the bikes while the babies and I had a snack and watched all of the bikers ride by. I must have pointed to and said "bike, bike, bike, wheel, bike, wheel" about 1,000 times. I think it took Gavin and Emery a while to get used to seeing everyone in their helmets. They looked at Pete like he was an alien until he took his helmet off. Then, they had a great time trying it out. Later on, Pete hung out with the babies while Bill and I went for a quick ride.

We should have done this a long time ago......it was great to be back on our bikes with the babies nearby!
