One year!!!!

Of course, we can't help but think about what we were doing last year at this time.

The babies were born at 10:17am on Wednesday, 8/1/07. Not even a minute apart!
Emery Reese was born first (Baby A)- 6lbs 12ozs and 19in long.
Gavin Michael was born second (Baby B)- 6lbs 11.5ozs and 20.5in long.

6:28am- About to leave for the hospital.

Just look at ALL of those pillows I was sleeping with at the time!!!!

8:04am- Waiting to have the babies! My c-section was scheduled for 9:00am, but was delayed a little bit.

I was still in recovery and hadn't really seen the babies yet (other than across the operating room). Pete was with the babies the entire time and would come in to give me updates (and show me pictures on the digital camera).

Finally, back to my room and able to hold the babies.

Since I couldn't get out of bed, Pete became a pro at diaper changes! This is probably one of the first changes. I can only imagine our conversation during this picture.

So, that's what we were doing One Year Ago!! We'll never have another day like it!!
