New Chairs....We learned quickly NOT to put them in front of the couch. It was way too hard to resist the climbing.
New Hats

New firetruck with building blocks. As you can see, Gavin has a freakishly large mouth and now Emery is trying to copy his tricks.

First ball and bat......used only with supervision. :-)
Grandma and Grandpa took the babies on daily "nature walks" on the front porch and sidewalk.
Walking update: Emery is still practicing daily. She's starting to randomly let go and take off across the room, which is sometime's scary (for me) depending on what is in her path. Tonight she made it about 10 feet when walking from the gate to me. So, it's only a matter of time before she's running circles around us!

The nature walks involved picking all of the flowers off of my plants.
They also got to try out the antique chairs that Grandma and Grandpa bought.
We had a great time. Pete and I were also able to attend a friend's wedding and do some mountain biking in Michigan over the weekend while my mom and Richard kept Gavin and Emery. This was our longest stretch away from the babies (48 hours) and everything went great. We are very thankful that they offered to babysit! The next wave of Granparents are on their way up now, so the birthday craziness and countdown to the big day will continue!!
