Uh-oh

I think this means that it's time for more baby-proofing.....

This is the door to our downstair's bathroom.
Look at how they work together, conspiring against me....

Luckily, they haven't figured out how to pull the door open yet, but I know it's coming soon!

On the subject of safety......the couch has now been moved out of the playroom and into the dining room. Today, I found Gavin standing on the ARM of the couch, holding onto the stair railing behind the couch. I almost had a heart attack! He must have made the climb quickly because I was keeping a close eye on him knowing that he was going to try a sneak attack.

On a positive note, I know that he DOES know how to get off of the couch feet first. This morning, Emery managed to get herself wedged between the tunnel and the tent in their playroom.

(Just a picture of the tent & tunnel, not Emery's predicament.)
So.....her head was inside the tent, but her feet were outside. As I was rescuing her (and she was screaming like a crazy woman), Gavin climbed onto the couch (of course). I guess the excitement was too much to miss, so as I was pulling Emery to safety, I watched him move to the edge of the couch and lower his leg to the ground. I just don't think that this method will work when he's standing on the arm, hovering over the toy box. So, that's why we have a couch in our dining room......along with a piano, a dining room table, a hutch, a bike trailer, 2 toddler arm chairs, an exersaucer, and a random overflow of toys.
